Itinerary
Day 1
Yangon Arrival and Sightseeing (Lunch, Dinner)Arrive at Yangon International Airport by morning flight. Welcome by our tour guide and transfer to the hotel. Take some time to rest at your hotel. After that, we will prepare a delicious lunch at the local restaurant. Start sightseeing around Yangon City, Secretariat Yangon. One of the colonial era-buildings in Yangon, you’ll walkthrough by exploring the historical landmark and interior colossal design construction. Then continues to Mahabandoola Park, the public park where the Independence Monument is standing in the middle. In the evening, we’ll discover the Shwedagon Pagoda, one of Myanmar’s most sacred places. The most significant religious monument, on the hill of Singuttara. It is customary to orbit clockwise direction around the pagoda platform. You’ll learn about the local devotees pray wishes and offer flowers as rituals. Shortly before returning to the hotel, have dinner at the local restaurant. And then transfer to the hotel with our transportation private air-conditioned vehicle. Overnight at Yangon.
Day 2
Yangon-Bagan by Flight and Bagan Sightseeing (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport and fly to Bagan by morning flight. Check-in at the hotel and then start the sightseeing at Shwezigon Pagoda- the huge gold-plated pagoda was built by King Anawrahta in the 11th century as the most impressive monuments of Bagan. The important place of pilgrimage for Buddhists. Proceed to Htilominlo Temple- the last Myanmar Style temple in Bagan, decorated with glazed sandstone tiles in green and yellow. Head for lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, take some time for the daybreak at your hotel. In the evening, we’ll visit Ananda Temple- you’ll discover one of the most surviving a whitewashed masterpiece of the Mon architecture with four standing Buddha images, the adjacent red brick monastery, its high walls preserved 18th-century murals. Next to Thatbyinnyu Temple-has two primary stories also known as temples of omniscience. End the day with a sunset view from the sunset hill. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at Bagan.
Day 3
Bagan Sightseeing (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)After breakfast at the hotel, our tour starts at 8 AM. Begin the tour around Bagan, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You’ll explore the majesty of architectural buildings with marvelous mural paintings and masterpiece temples. Htilominlo Temple-the last Myanmar Style temple in Bagan, decorated with glazed sandstone tiles in green and yellow. Next to Dhammayangyi Temple-the most massive structure temple in Bagan was built by King Narathu who was also called the Kalagya Min, the king was assassinated by Indians. We will head to a lacquerware workshop where you can learn about the interesting process of making traditional Myanmar lacquerware. Return back to the local restaurant for lunch. Experience rural life of local people’s lifestyles by horse cart passing through the village of Minnanthu. You’ll be riding with a horse cart, getting the authentic experience and escape from the usual transportation. In the evening, end the day with fine dining at the Sunset Garden Restaurant. After dinner, return to your hotel for overnight.
Day 4
Bagan-Myaing Community by Car (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)Our Lucky Treasure tour guide will come and meet you at your hotel at 8 AM. Then start the drive from Bagan to Myaing community lodge which is far about 78 km from Bagan and it takes about 2 hours. Myaing village is situated in the dry zone of central Myanmar and Thanakha tree is one of the main agriculture as s tropical plant species. On the way to Myaing, we will explore the Pakokku local market and discover Myanmar traditional slippers workshop in Pakokku. Arrive at Myaing community lodge and welcome by villagers. Relax for a while in a lodge and then enjoy local lunch which is prepared by the villagers. In the evening, you can be experienced by applied the Thanaka which is made from ground tree bark on your face and start the short bike ride around the villages of Myaing. While visiting the villages, you will be observing livelihood activities, learn about weaving and making traditional snacks. And back to lodge and relax. After refreshment, enjoy delicious traditional dinner with cultural performance. Overnight at Myaing community lodge.
Day 5
Myaing-Mandalay by Car (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)Breakfast will be served by Myanmar traditional snacks and coffee at the village. After Breakfast, we plant a tree near the village that intends to green the hot dry zone of Myanmar and these plants can grow by your name. Return to the village and check out the lodge. Lunch at the village with Burmese Cruise. Then check out the lodge and continue to Mandalay. After 4hours driving, reach the Mandalay. Check-in at the hotel and dinner at the local restaurant. Relax and overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.
Day 6
Mandalay Sightseeing (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)After breakfast at your hotel, check out the hotel and visit Mandalay by morning flight. Arrive at Mandalay, check-in hotel and start sightseeing to Mandalay historical city. Mahamuni Pagoda (with its spectacular Buddha image), 13 ft-tall seated Buddha. The daily ritual every morning around 4 AM, the senior monk cleaning the teeth with a large brush and washing the face of Buddha image with fresh towels offered by Buddhist devotees. Experience at gold leaf workshops where that you’ll witness the entire process of making gold leaf. We’ll stop for lunch at a local restaurant and then visit the Shwe Nan Daw Monastery (Golden Palace Monastery) in teak wood standing to look on the durability of teak and the carving of the 19th century is still with its ancient mystical beauty and totally traditional Myanmar Style. Tour continues to Atumashi Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda, commonly known as the world’s largest book because of 729 marble slabs of Buddhist scriptures that were erected around the pagoda. Afterward, a vantage point for a panoramic view of the city and a spectacular sunset view from the top of Mandalay Hill. It is worthy to have a stroll up the hill enjoying panoramic views from a different location. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at hotel in Mandalay.
Day 7
Amarapura-Mingun Sightseeing (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)After breakfast at the hotel, our tour starts at U Bein Bridge, 1.2 kilometers of length, the oldest and longest teakwood bridge in the world. Made of teak wood recuperated from the waste of an abandoned palace, accredited to the achievement of the mayor U Bein. you’ll photograph the fantastic view, discovering the daily life of the countryside. Prepare lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer to Jetty to take a boat trip for a river cruise on the Ayeyarwady River from Mandalay to Mingun. It is located across majestic Ayeyarwaddy River approximately 12 kilometers north of Mandalay. Enjoy the extraordinary scenic, villages, framings, and river ports along the way. Sightseeing to Mya Thein Dan Pagoda and Mingun today hosts the world’s second-largest ringing Bell of 90 tons in weight and unfinished pagoda to go with it. Mingun Pahtodawgyi was dedicated to being the world’s largest monument however which today stood to be the world’s largest brick pile. It is reached by ferry boats across the river and takes 1 hour for up-river and 40 minutes for down-river. A boat trip to Mingun is pleasant with plenty of life on the river to see. And come back to Mandalay and dinner at Local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.
Day 8
Mandalay-Yangon by Flight and Yangon Sightseeing (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)After breakfast, check out of the hotel and fly back to Yangon by domestic flight. Arrive back Yangon, visit the National Museum. Lunch at local restaurant and then continues to Bogyoke Aung San Market used to call Scott Market- a shopping market with more than 2000 shops selling all kinds of products like lacquerware, gems, Myanmar traditional arts & crafts and souvenirs, clothes, art galleries, antique. It gives the best local experience. In the evening, take a walk to ChinaTown where you can see many vendors along the sidewalk. You can buy many varieties of Myanmar products and taste Street Food. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 9
Departure for Home (Breakfast)After breakfast at the hotel, the tour continues to Kaba Aye Pagoda means World Peace Pagoda, a different structure from the other pagodas. Then proceed to Maha Pasana Cave, where the sixth Buddhist synod took place. Then our guide will accompany you to the airport for your departure.
